Shmulik Gonga

I was born in 1962 in Tel-Aviv to a working class car’s workshop owning family. Since I was 12 years old I was always holding a screwdriver and walked around the workshop. My hands never knew anything but metal.

Sensing the metal sculpture – Since I remember myself I had something inside of me that wanted to explode. 8 years ago I started looking differently on the same material that surrounded me for four decades.  Suddenly all the radiators around the workshop became alive.
